The disk usage is definitely not governed by the number of users, we have hundreds and I'm the only one with the out of disk space error. I think it reflects what the local drive has. that has a lot of space on the c drive, I don t see the red bar on my GDFS. If I look at the "my computer" scenario on my laptop, where the C drive has/had about 50 Mb (bad, i know), i see my drive is full. So, why when you focus (left click) on "my computer", you see the red bar, saying you've run out of disk space? I think it reflects what the drive that houses the gdfs cache has, in most case the C drive. My organisation has unlimited storage, I believe all organisations have this. drag and drop to it and not having to use the web interface. word docs open in word and not google docs, excel in excel and not sheets etc. you can browse it and open objects in their native format, e.g. The screen shot sent by the op is correct, gdfs looks like a windows drive, with folders etc. GDFS acts like an extended/another drive and Drive is synchronisation, very different things. It uses the storage allowance for your organisation (which can be unlimited). I've been trialling GDFS in our organisation. I don t normally comment on these but in this case.here we go.
